What gives me credibility in the industry?
I am

standards set by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards including
fiduciary responsibility for my clients. I am always happy to share the
performance records of the portfolios that I recommend. Also, I fully disclose
the cost of all services that I provide.
I have been published in Forbes, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Money magazine, and the
San Francisco Chronicle to name a few
(see
the complete list). I am a member of the Kinder Institute of Life
Planning (www.kinderinstitute.com),
and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (www.napfa.org).
Things that I would like you to
associate with me:
-
I work to earn your trust and work harder to keep
your trust.
- I am 100% fee-only and therefore
never work on commission. I am able to charge
less due to lower overhead costs. I am a fiduciary for all my
clients.
-
My goal is to help you bridge the gap between
where you are and where you want to be with planning that is
customized to your personal situation. My clients and I work as
partners to design a life plan that combines the clients’ values,
dreams and financial resources.
- In 2006 and 2007 I trained with the Kinder
Institute earning the Registered Life Planner® certification. The
institute is an international organization focusing on the most
meaningful - even profound - goals of a person's life. The Kinder
EVOKE™ Method, a life-centered approach to Financial Planning,
provides a supportive financial framework for living the most
meaningful and rewarding life you can imagine.
You can
find me in Menlo Park where I live with
my lovely wife, Bonnie. You will also get to meet Abby, our Scottish
terrier and part of the team at ICM!
